Answer: Finals are always held on the first Saturday in August.
Question:What is the water depth requirement for diving?
Answer:
The RSL conforms to minimum depths as specified by USA Swimming Rules and Regulations. Specifically, the minimum depth for performing a racing start from a block is 4 feet. All of the pools in the RSL have their blocks positioned at an end that meets that minimum, most being at 5 feet. There are also rules specific to teaching racing starts. All of our coaches are instructed that they are to teach and/or confirm each athlete's ability to perform a racing start in at least 6 feet of water before allowing the athlete to perform a racing start in the normal racing course during practice or a meet.
Question: Do I have to do the online strokeandturn.com and attend the stroke and turn class?
Answer: Yes. Please take the online class first and bring your certificate to the RSL Training session for certification.
